Getting Started

This section explains how to get started with Promethist, from your very first login to managing accounts, members, and billing. It is designed to provide both step-by-step instructions and the broader context you need to understand how accounts fit into the overall platform structure.

Signing in with Google or Microsoft

PromethistAI supports secure, password‑free authentication via Google and Microsoft using OAuth. This provides strong identity management without requiring users to create and maintain new credentials.

To sign in:

  1. Go to the PromethistAI login page.

  2. Select Login with Google or Login with Microsoft.

  3. Approve the sign-in prompt.

  4. You are taken to Select Your Account. If you don’t belong to any account yet, Create New Account opens instead. See Creating an Account.

PromethistAI requires a Google or Microsoft account. If your organization uses Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID, your access will be tied to that enterprise identity.

After you sign in, AI Assistant opens by default. Use the switch in the top right corner to move to Studio. See Switching Between AI Assistant and Studio.

Accepting an Invitation

Most users join PromethistAI through an account or project Owner. The Owner can add you in two ways:

Granted directly

You receive no email. Sign in with the email address the Owner used, and the account or project is already in your list.

Invitation

You receive an email with a link.

To accept an invitation:

  1. Open the link from the email.

  2. If you are not signed in, select Login with Google or Login with Microsoft.

  3. Select Accept Invitation, or Decline.

An account invitation gives you access to the whole account. A project invitation gives you access to that one project.

  • Sign in with the same email address the invitation was sent to. Otherwise the page shows the address it was sent to and a Switch Account button.

  • Invitations expire after 7 days. If yours has expired, ask an Owner to invite you again.

If the invitation email doesn’t arrive, check your spam or promotions folder. The Owner can also copy the invitation link and send it to you directly. See Invitations.

The top bar contains:

Sidebar button

Collapses the sidebar to icons. Hover an icon to see its name.

Region (globe icon)

Shows the region you are working in, EU or US. See Selecting Platform Region.

Breadcrumbs

Show the selected account and project. Click the account to go back to its projects, or the project to go back to its agents.

AI Assistant / Studio

Switches between the chat-based AI Assistant and the Studio interface. You stay in the same account, project and page. See AI Assistant.

The sidebar shows only the groups that apply to where you are and to your role:

Assets

Inside a project: Agents, Knowledge Management, Integrations, Interactive Content, Content Navigation.

Test

Inside a project: Simulated Users, Agent Evaluations, Test Suites.

Performance

Inside a project: Evaluations, Analytics Suite.

Project

Inside a project: Settings, and Members for project Owners.

Account

Once an account is selected: Projects and Identity Providers for everyone, and Members, Billing and Settings for account Owners.

Resources

Always visible. Documentation opens this documentation and Service Desk opens the PromethistAI support portal, both in a new tab.

Click the PromethistAI logo at the top of the sidebar to go back to Select Your Account. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar to Log out.

Browser Support

We officially support Google Chrome (latest stable release) for the PromethistAI administration console.

Other modern browsers (e.g., Safari, Firefox, Microsoft Edge) are supported on a best-effort basis: the console may work, but some features might be limited or behave differently.

If you encounter a browser-specific issue outside Chrome, try reproducing in Chrome (latest) before filing a ticket.
