In this video, we will add a link to a web page to the navigation of a project. Content Navigation builds the menu, and the quick actions, that your users see in the app.
To start, open Content Navigation in the sidebar. It sits in the Assets group, and it opens the list of navigation items.
Once you are there, you will see the navigation items of this project. To add one, click Create. A dialog opens, and it starts with the type of the item.
Choose the type of item. A folder groups other items. Text shows a message. An action triggers something in the app, and a route opens a screen of the app. A URL opens a web page, and that is the one we will add.
Give the item a name, which is what users see in the app. And add a description.
Then enter the address of the page to open. For example, a help page of your company.
The tool description tells the agent when to offer this item as a quick action, during a conversation.
Parent folder places the item inside a folder, and order sets its position in the list.
These switches decide where the item shows up. Global offers it to every agent in the project. Show in app navigation lists it in the app's menu. Active items are visible, and inactive ones are hidden. And an unlock condition keeps the item locked until an evaluation result matches, and shows the locked message meanwhile.
When you are ready, click Create Navigation.
And your item is ready. Depending on the switches you set, users see it in the app's menu, and agents can offer it during a conversation.
